Ashley moved to Topsail island with her family in 2012. She fell in love with the laid-back way of life the coastal communities have to offer. She spent her summers enjoying the beach with family and friends.

Ashley has lived in North Topsail, Surf City, Hampstead, and now Porters Neck, which has helped her become very familiar with this coastal and surrounding area. Ashley still enjoys taking her pups for walks on the beach and hanging out with friends around the island.

Ashley graduated from the University of North Carolina of Wilmington with a Bachelor's degree in Early Education. From there, she nannied for a few families locally. While nannying, Ashley worked part-time for her mom, Joann McDermon,  as her sales assistant.  Ashley began getting more and more interested in the Real Estate industry. She loves being able to help others.  Within the year, Ashley became a licensed broker. She now works with Joann full-time on her team and is ready to assist you with your buying or selling needs.
